SFSR (Sea Front Sustainable Route) Phases 1 and 2

Premier Plant were thrilled to be awarded this prestigious flagship project, delivering both phases of the new Sustrans cycle route. This scheme spans over 7km from Gibraltar Rock in Tynemouth, through Cullercoats, and finishing at St Mary’s Lighthouse in Whitley Bay.

This extensive project, which was recently recognised as ‘Best Large Project’ at the annual CIHT North East and Cumbria Annual Awards, encompassed our full range of services including engineering, excavation, drainage, hard landscaping and surfacing. This enabled us to showcase our ability to deliver top quality workmanship to a large scheme in a renowned area within the North East
